After shifting from a career in architecture, in 2010 Angela Ciobanu set up her eponymous jewellery label, soon to become a multiple award winner worldwide.

With a particular interest in biomaterials and a cross-disciplinary approach - encompassing novel design aesthetics, material research, craftsmanship and technology - the objects that she creates question the notions of preciousness and value in jewellery and fashion. Many international exhibitions and fairs, as well as collaborations with numerous galleries, museums and concept stores have reconfirmed the brand’s disruptive vision in the industry.

We got too used to calling “light” the wave that floods the chambers of our universe, the sparkle that our sight can plainly touch. But truth and light reside between the walls of darkness and a hidden drop of light may carry within more truth than our eyes can bear looking at.
