Based between Melbourne and New York, Maripossa was founded by self-taught jeweller Lauren Besser in Australia in 2010. Drawing on a background in psychology and fashion design, Lauren is guided by experimentation and instinct. Playful experimentation is evident with each evolving collection wherein designs continue to provoke curiosity and dialogue between wearer and observer. Focusing on notions of contradiction and opposition, coarse metals are transformed into bespoke fabric-like jewellery fusing sterling silver and fine chains, and upcycling solid gold
heirlooms. By interspersing contrasting mediums each piece has its own distinct sense of aesthetic malleability. Imagination and introspection are
embedded into the jewellery and accompanying campaign imagery, a testament to the artist's creative direction and fresh interpretation for each collection.
Organic rings and cuffs are formed utilising the process of lost wax casting and intricately woven styles are individually oxidized or dip-dyed, ensuring the exclusivity of each piece. Each piece is designed and made by hand.

Maripossa Shipping Policy

Orders to Australia are shipped via DHL Express Worldwide and cost $30USD.

Delivery times are 1-7 days depending on customs. Please note that our prices do not include duties/taxes which may be payable before the item is delivered. To find out more about import duties and taxes for your country we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Maripossa Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer the option to exchange your order if you notify us via email same day as receipt. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Items are quality checked prior to shipping. Should your item be faulty we will repair, exchange or refund faulty products and cover the cost of shipping. Please contact us first.

Maripossa Care Instructions

All items come with a care card so please retain this on receiving. Due to the handmade nature of our designs each piece is unique. There may be slight colour variations in hand dyed chain styles and our pieces are designed to naturally tarnish with age. There are ways to reduce tarnish so please contact us with any questions at sales@maripossa.com.au. Crystal items are delicate and should be handled with care.
